Tommy Barrett (born 20 May 1979 in Limerick) is a footballer currently playing for Athlone Town and an Football Association of Ireland Development Officer for Limerick [1].
He started began his playing career with Geraldines FC until he signed for Fairview Rangers and played a leading role as his team claimed a historic treble of the FAI Junior Cup in 2001, 2002 and 2003. He signed for Shamrock Rovers for the 2007 season and made his debut against Longford Town on the 16th of March [2]. In total he made 12 appearances in the green and white before being released in July [3].
Barrett signed for the midlanders in February 2011 [4].
